The Gap Between Following and Flowing

Sometimes you just want to follow a pattern—and that’s great. But sometimes, you don’t. You want a quilt that feels alive, full of color and movement, not one that looks like everyone else’s.

That’s where many quilters get stuck: How do I make colors flow? How do I design without it looking random?

Quilting should be joyful, not filled with second-guessing. You deserve the confidence to create quilts that are truly spellbinding.

PS. I did your gingham meadow sew along which finally gave me the confidence to try out your patterns and color placement. I had an absolute blast doing it!! Now I’m excited to cut into my next color bundle!

  • Curated Bundles – hand-selected fabrics that naturally flow from shade to shade.

  • Patterns That Teach – approachable projects designed to help you practice color flow as you sew.

  • A Full Fabric Shop – solids and blenders that act as your color playground.

  • Step-by-Step Video Quilt Alongs – on-demand tutorials that walk you through each stage so you never feel stuck.

With the right tools and guidance, you’ll stop second-guessing and start creating quilts that shimmer with color and feel uniquely yours.

Detailed Instructions

Some folks are readers. So I work to write clear instructions in every pattern. Whether you are a beginner or lifer, the instructions serve as a guide to the finish.

Clear Technical Illustrations

Some folks are skimmers, or let's be real, just look at the pictures. All my patterns include clear technical illustrations to guide you through piecing the quilt so you only need to look at the measurements if that is how you work best.
